Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Anime Wallpaper 4K ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App. We built the App to require no account and to collect as little as possible.

1. Information We Collect

No account, no personal profile. The App has no sign-up or login. We do not ask for your name, email, or address.
Usage & device analytics. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features are used (e.g., wallpapers viewed, downloads, searches) and basic device information (device model, OS version, app version, language, and a random app-instance identifier). This helps us improve the App.
Advertising data. We show ads via Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may process your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. See the "Ads & Data Disclosure" section below.
Community chat. If you send a message in the in-app community chat, the message text and a randomly generated display name are stored on our server so it can be shown to other users. Do not share personal information in chat.
Favorites. Wallpapers you favorite are stored only on your device, not on our servers.

2. Ads & Data Disclosure

The App is supported by advertising through Google AdMob, including rewarded, interstitial, and native ad formats. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its ad partners may collect and use:

The Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), if you allow tracking;
Device and network information (IP address, device type, OS);
Ad interactions (impressions, clicks, and rewards earned).

3. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On first launch we show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and, where required, a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). If you choose "Ask App Not to Track," the App and AdMob will not use the IDFA to track you across other companies' apps and websites; you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant. You can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

4. How We Use Information

To operate and improve the App and its content feed;
To display and measure advertising that keeps the App free;
To power community chat and understand feature usage.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following providers, each with its own privacy policy:

Google AdMob & Google Analytics for Firebase — Google Privacy Policy

6. Your Choices & Rights

Manage tracking via iOS Settings (see ATT above).
Reset your advertising identifier in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising.
Depending on your region (e.g., EEA/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Contact us to make a request.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. AdMob ad content is requested to be age-appropriate.

8. Data Retention & Security

Analytics data is retained per Google's default retention settings. Chat messages are kept only for the most recent conversation history. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
